Not only do we have a General Election on 4th July with Richard Fuller as the Conservative candidate, but also a Bedford Borough by-election in Wyboston ward - our previous councillor has sadly had to leave due to ill health.
SHARAN SIRA is the Conservative candidate for Wyboston and the surrounding villages.
A resident of Wilden for over 12 years, living with her husband and two children, Sharan is a qualified Finance and Operations Director for a Bedford-based business. Sharan brings new skills to the Borough Council, including a strong background in Law & Accounting which she will use to challenge the Council to continue to deliver quality services but doing so in a cost-effective way.
Outside of work Sharan is treasurer to two Bedfordshire charities and an administrator for a junior sports club. With a record in both the private and charitable sectors, Sharan looks forward to bringing her experience and energy to represent our villages at the Borough Council.
